January 5 2012: According to close friends of the couple, singer/actor Justin Timberlake popped the question to girlfriend of 4 years, actress Jessica Biel, over the holidays on a romantic ski trip. The two were seen snowboarding together in late December at Big Sky Resort in Montana, Billboard.com reported.
The winter wonderland was the perfect setting for Timberlake to ask for Biel's hand in marriage, considering their shared love for the mountains and winter sport. US Weekly source reported that "Justin knows how much she loves snowboarding and the mountains, so it was the perfect place."
The "Cry Me a River" singer reportedly asked Biel to marry him while at the mountaintop, but the couple has yet to comment on the details.
Timberlake, 30, and Biel, 29, began dating in 2007; both were coming off long-term relationships with fellow celebrities: he dated Cameron Diaz, his "Bad Teacher" co-star, for three years, while Biel dated actor Chris Evans for five.
